Hi all! I am researching the Van Alystyne Family of Wolcott, Wayne County, New york. My Grx3 Grandmother Lucinda married Peter Van Alstine before 1850 but after 1848. I have seen this surname spelled several different ways. Peter and his parents are buried in Old livingston Cemetery, Wolcott, Wayne County, NY. Peter was born abt 1818 and d 12 Oct 1851. Lucinda then remarried to Jacob Livingston. I see no children of their union listed in my records. I am in search of information on how these people lived, etc. I would really like to find out Lucinda's maiden name as she has become the roadblock in my research.
