Hi,

I would appreciate your help in connecting Peter Van Alstyne who married Margaret Feick (Veeg, Feek) in the Schoharie Reformed Church on 5 Oct 1787. Their marriage record states he was the son of Martynes Van Alstyne of Susquehanna. Peter and Margaret had at least four daughters (Maria, Janny, Sally, Caty) and one son, Phillip, born in Schoharie Co.
Was this Peter Van Alstyne the same man who applied for a Revolutionary War pension in 1834 (Pension No. S14762 (N.Y.))? That Peter was living in Glen, Montgomery Co., NY and stated that he had lived in Schoharie County from about 1786 to 1831, prior to moving to Glen.
