Does anyone have any information on a Jacob Van Alstyne, who had sons named Abram and John. Both of these men lived for a time in Onondaga County Ny.
Abram later moved to Wolcott , Wayne County NY and it is likely that John moved to Wisconsin. One of John's daughters married a Geo Helmer.
Both Abram and John named their daughters, Maria. This might have been their mother's name.
Abram had two sons, Jacob and Peter. It could be that the father of Abram and John is Peter, rather than Jacob.
Other family names connected with these men are,
Van Patten, Livingston, Phenn/ Fenn, Vischer/Fisher
Harrington.
