Funeral services for Mrs. Benjamin Mizer, 73, will be held at the West Lafayette M.E. church Friday at 2:30 p.m. in charge of Rev. T. W. Cornell and Rev. H. J. Young. Burial will be in Fairfield cemetery. Mrs. Mizer died at 12:15 p.m. Wednesday at her home in West Lafayette from pneumonia and complications. She had been in ill health for the last few months. Margaret Van Alstyne was born in Albany, N.Y., Nov. 20, 1863, the daughter of Abraham and Eliza Smith Van Alsyne. She came to Coshocton county at the age of five and had lived in this county the remainder of her life. On Oct. 31, 1886, she married Benjamin Mizer. Surviving are her husband, four children, Mrs. Earl Beaver of West Lafayette, Mrs. Edgar Besst of Coshocton, charles and Birney of the home; 14 grandchildren and a sister, Miss Kathryn Van Alstyne of Coshocton.
