Paul, wow thank you thank you for such a speedy answer. I have a lot of info on Amable Goudreau, have not found any Indian blood line associated with him but also I've been pounding away at trying to figure out Mary Vallier so not much focus has been on his ancestors. This is what I have and its literally ALL I have Mary is also known as Mary Marie Vallier (with the Vallier spelled several different ways); Mary Brouillard (spelled different ways)and Mary Louise Vallier she came to Mackinac county out of Collingwood, Ontario Canada Born 1826 died Dec. 23, 1895 in Epoufette, Mackinac County Michigan. She reportedly came via canoe accompanied with 2 brothers. I know of her marriage date, children, etc ~ I just have nothing of her past after she hit US soil. I've read her father is Joseph Vallier and her mother unknown. When trying to get her birth certificate we come up empty handed due to a fire that destroyed her records.
My personal email is I don't want to waste space on the forum with non-sense; I'm very brand new to the genealogy search so I definitely appreciate the help; other people in the family have searched for info regarding Mary Vallier and get stone walled I'm hoping fresh eyes makes a huge break through for our family!!! Sincerely Jessica
