I am looking for information on Angeline Valliere born 1828 in Kingston, Ontario. Her death certificate says her father’s name was John Valliere. She married William McKindley, born in Lockport, New York about 1847, and then married Francis (Frank) Majo(b in the Watertown, New York or Kingston Ontario areas) in Cleveland Ohio about 1860. She was a Protestant (Methodist or Episcopal), but her second husband Francis Majo was Catholic. Her name in the St Louis Parish Register in Toledo, Ohio, which was written in French, is spelled Valère. She died in 1917 in Toledo Ohio at the age of 96. I believe she had a cousin, Adelia M Valliere, b 1839 in Vermont, who married her second husband’s son, Francis A Majo, also about 1860 in Cleveland Ohio. Does any of this sound familiar to anyone? I’d appreciate any leads or info.
