Thank you for your reply! Any info you may have is most welcome; I also thank you for the source lead to pursue more records. I have been stymied a long time due to my great-great grandfather John Valia's name change from Valliere to Valia. May I assume you are a descendant from one of John Valia's children as I am? One of John Valia's daughters was my great-grandmother; I learned a fair amount of information from my grandmother through oral history which I recorded. I welcome emails from you and most willing to share if it is of interest to you.
