Hi there!
I am starting my genealogy project and am having some difficulty with my grandmother's side. I have a Joseph Gilbert married to a Marie Vallier living in Skowhegan, ME in the 1900 and 1910 census. Joseph and Marie were born in Canada, but I don't know where or how to begin searching. I believe they were married in 1883, but don't know if it was in Maine or Canada. The marriage record I have for their daughter, Florence, just says Canada.
Does anyone out there have a Marie Vallier(e) married to a Joseph Gilbert living in Skowhegan, ME in their family?
Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated!!
