Betty,
I believe the paper you are refering to was filed on behalf of Martha Hurlock against Robert Spencer Valliant in 1836 in Madison Co, Al. The paper I'm interested in was filed in Arkansas Co. Ar. in 1862. I have no clue as to its subject yet. I have not heard from the County Clerk there. Any information about Robert J. or his siblings would be appreciated.
