Connee,
A letter of administration was filed in 1862 by Robert J. Valliant in Ark. Co. Ark. The 1860 census listed an R.J. 19 as a child of Jackson and wife Lucy E. I have posted a request in Arkansas Co. for help in finding out what that is about. It could shed some light on what happened to this family.
