Ray, The earliest known ancestor was Francis Valley (male). 1820 census listed him in Edwards County territory of Illinois and was listed as being 50-60 years of age. The subsequent census, 1840, 1850, 1860, 1870,1880, 1890(destroyed),and 1900 there are no Andrews listed. We hve not been able to make any connection of where Francis came from.This could be a connection if he had siblings in the U.S. and his name was recorded along with his. My Grandfather was Julia?A (August Jacob)Valley born19Mar1875 died 30Oct1938. Maybe some help.
