Marie Louise Valle b: ca. 1750 in Kaskaskia, Randolph, Illinois d: ca. 30 Aug 1801 in Ste. Genevieve, Ste. Genevieve, Missouri. She was the daughter of Francois Valle [b. 1719] & Marianne Billeron [b. 1729]. Marie Louise Valle moved to New Orleans with her husband Louis Villars, she was there when her mother died in 1781 then returned to Ste. Genevieve, MO. Her father was Commandant and a leader in the community of Ste. Genevieve, as well as her brothers. In 1782 King Carlos II, of Spain conferred upon Francois [her father] the rank of Lieutenant in the regular Spanish Army. Becoming a Spanish Don. aka; Captain Don Francisco Valle or Don Francois Valle. Marie Louise Valle married Louis Dubreuil Villars on 19 Oct 1771 in Ste. Genevieve, Ste. Genevieve, Missouri. Louis Dubreuil Villars b: Bef. 1751 in New Orleans, Louisiana was the son of Louis Villars & Felicite Dellanois. The Villars family had their own Church pew - Church of Ste. Genevieve, MO. 1760's - Louis was one of many French Creoles who entered the Spanish service in Louisiana. 1770 - Louis was the appointed First Lieutenant in command of the Ste. Genevieve detachment of the Royal Spanish Army, 2nd Company, 3rd Battalion, of the fixed regiment of Louisiana.
