John Valley b. 1858 or 1859 in Ireland

Hi, I am trying to trace my maternal grandfathers' roots. He was born George Valley in April 1902 to Jennie Valley (nee. Webster) of New York and John Valley of Ireland (who was deceased at the time of my grandfathers birth at age 43). George was one of six children and was given up for adoption at the Foundling Hospital in NYC. He was adopted in 1905 by the Bruno's of NJ. I am trying to find out where in Ireland his father, John, came from, when he came to America and where my grandfathers other siblings ended up. Not all were put up for adoption. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks.
