Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Re: Vallilee Surname

My grandfather's name was Thomas Vallilee
b.5 July 1879
d. 15 Jan 1945 Sayre, Bradford County Pa.
He Married Kathryn Beatrice Meehan

His parents were
James Vallilee
b. Ireland (I have this date somewhere)
Mary Ellen Clancy

I have other information that I would have to dig out if you are interested. Rumor in our family is that the Vallilee line comes from France, not originaly Ireland.
Please let me know!
