I am a valerio who has done some research on the Valerio family and I found out that Maria Fernandez Valerio was born about 1713 her father was Martin Fernandez Valerio and her mother was Maria Montoya. Martin was born in Real Saccualpa, Mexico in 1682 unkown parents and he came to New Mexico in 1694 at the age of 12. In 1701 he maried Maria Montoya who was born in New Mexico parents unkowen. They had they had 11 children and Maria was the fourth one. The family resided in Santa Cruz . Maria was born there.Maria and Juan had 9 children that i can account for they were: Salatiel; Rosa Maria;Maria Gregoria; Joseph; Rodrigo Ramom; Francisco; Juana; Antonio Benito and Juan Felipe.
