My great grandfather was Juan Antonio Valerio, born about 1857 in Ranchos de Taos, N.M. Married in December 09, 1882 to Maria Juana Mestas and Died on April 30, 1921 in Ranchos. His parents were Juan de Jesus Valerio and Maria G. Martinez. In researching this records on mircofilm, you'd be amazed how many Juan's and Antonio's there are. I hope I helped you out. If you live in Taos, you can go the LDS(Mormon) church and do some research or where do you live? It doesn't cost anything.
