This may have nothing to do with your Leonardo,
but My great grandfather's name was Leonardo Valenzuela, he was born in Las Cruces New Mexico in November of 1865, his Father Fernando Valenzuela was born in Mexico. Anyway my g-grandfather Leonardo disappeared sometime around 1900 and 1904. Leonardo and his wife Estanislada had Two son's Cenon and John, Cenon was my grandfather. They say Leonardo went off into the Tula Rosa desert and never returned. My g-grandmother Estanislada presumed he was dead and eventually remarried.
I have always wondered if he may have ran off and had another family somewhere.
Anyway if you can find anymore facts about your Leonardo Valenzuela let me know so we can compare facts.
