Hi Ginny,
Thank you so much for your reply to my message about the Valentines on the message board. I was wondering if you could resolve an issue for me. I have seen several other pieces of data that show that Thomas (born 1718 and married to Elizabeth Hewlett) is actually the son of Obadiah Valentine (1690-1769) and Martha Willets (1694-1743) and not Thomas and Sarah Dean. Here is a family tree I found online from Alice Lockwood that supports this latter relation: http://www.gencircles.com/clubs/surnames/valentine/messages/read/2
According to this tree, the Thomas that was the son of Thomas and Sarah Dean was born in 1736 and was married to Rebecca Ingraham. Please let me know what you make of this. I'd really like to find out who my ancestor is for sure. Thanks so much!!
