Henry Valentine was born circa 1842-1844 in Michigan. He may have lived for a time in Ohio. Before 1865 he traveled to the Puget Sound area, near Seattle, Washington. He married Sarah Lewis, with the help of Chief Olympus in Washington. The couple then moved to Rockwood, Oregon, near the Portland area. They had 9 children, 3 of which lived to adulthood, Alice May, Albert, and Estella Esther Valentine. If anyone has any information about any of these people please contact me. Thanks. Henry Valentine was said to have been Pennsylvania Dutch. He was a blacksmith in Rockwood, and sold German imports. He died in 1900, I don't know which cemetery he was buried.
