Don,

You can easly find what Native American tribe your ancestors were, by ordering a Y46 DNA sample from Ancestry.com/DNA.

I found that my maternal ancestry are Haplogroup Q connected to the Shoshone. Don't know what percentage.
Only a male can have this test done, since the Y chromosome is past from father to son.
I had a son of my mother's brother do the test.
