My records show that Catherine was Andrew's daughter. Andrew and Helen Whillans were married in Kelso, Roxburghshire on Dec. 23, 1814.
Andrew's sister, Isabella - one of my great, great grandmothers - married James Jack in Maxton, Rox., in 1819.
Therefore, one might posit that the Kerrs were from Roxburghshire.
