Jeremiah 1st -John- Daniel - Samuel - David - Philander - James - Avery - Derwin

Hi folks,

I have some information on most of my direct ancestors from Jeremiah on down, but am seeking information on David, in particular. I know that his father was Samuel (1741-1777) who died on his way home to CT from the Revolutionary War, after being captive on a prison ship in NYC.

We don't know much of anything about David (1775-1824) other than he had a daughter Phebe who died very young.

Can anyone shed any light?
