Chesley Buffin, taxed in 1790 for land

I am trying to find the ancestry of Giles C. Buffin and his son Philip C. Buffin, of Charles City County, b ca 1765-80 and 1820 respectively. Does anyon have information of this Chesley Buffin, who is listed in 1790 in York County as owning land, and in 1800, also listed with a Thomas Buffin, as being on the personal property tax list of James City County.

I would appreciate any help.
