Yes, I know what you mean about the Stingy Wise County Site. I go to the Library in Buchanan Virginia and they have the Wise County 1850 and 1860 census records transcribed. I believe in free Genealogy. I will not knowingly give my info. to any database that sells genealogy. I know people who have bought C.D.s etc. and were very disappointed to find that it had the same info. as sites you can find for free on the Web. I WILL NOT BUY any info. I will freely share any info. I have, and will ask for lookups in counties that I cant get to. But I wont let these people make a buck by selling me my own ancestors history. If we wont buy, they cant sell. Then maybe they will get their Advertisments off every genealogy Site. I will lookup any 1850 or 1860 Wise County census for you the next time I go to the library, I dont go weekly, but I do go pretty often. So if this helps email me the names you want me to lookup. Thanks for listening. Lucy Church
