are you still looking for info.

there is a Crit Ball living in 1900 wise co. va with a William and Sarah Ball.
but in 1910 he is listed as Williams stepson Crit
I cant make out the last nameand it looks like Corner or something like that but its not Ball and he was born in 1892 and in 1900 they say they have only been married for 6 yrs. and William says he was married for 15 years.
but it is the same family in 1900 and 1910 because they have two of the same daughters plus Crit living there.

and according to James Ball Williams son it looks like his mothers name was Melissa which looks like Melissa might have been a Legg as William and Melissa are living in Lee co. in 1880 with a bunch of In laws.

they got married in Jan of 1880 in Lee co. va

I know that this marriage is not of importance as far as
William and Sarah, but it might be clue to who Sarah was before the marriage. Still looking for Rosa Gertrude.
