need help with IDing pic/early 1900s/Big Stone Gap, VA/Maggie Collins

Hello All,

I need help in authenticating a picture that I have that may be of one of my grandfather's sisters, "Eva Brooks". It is of her and another woman, probably taken somewhere between 1910 and 1920. On back it is inscribed "Eva Brooks, Maggie Collins...this is one of my old friends in Big Stone Gap. Plese (sic) give this to Floyd Brooks." "Floyd" may have referred to my grandfather, who was from Claiborne Co., TN (as was "Eva"). I'm sure "old friend" refers to other woman in the picture, Maggie Collins. There is some confusion as to who exactly is pictured as my grandfather's sister was never known to have lived in Big Stone Gap, VA. Yet the names mentioned on back indicate it could have been her.

The picture is actually in a postcard form with a postage mark area on back as well. If anyone feels they may know who this "Maggie Collins", mostly likely from Big Stone Gap, VA, is feel free to contact and I can e-mail a copy of this picture. Serious inquiries only please. We'd like to clear up the mystery of this picture. Thanks.

Melvin
