Hello, My Elizabeth Seymore was the dau of James and Eliza Seamore. She was born about 1831 in TN according to the 1850 Scott Co. VA. Census. She appears again in 1874 when son John H.P. Seymore married Mary Angelina Smith. I do not have any more information on her. I am trying to fine if she ever married, when and where she died. John H. P. Seymore moved to NC bef. 1880 and was very secretive about his family. He told his children he or his father was an adopted indian child who took the Seymore name. I do now know who his father was. Only Elizabeth was listed on the marriage register with John H. P. Seymore. Her father and mother died in Scott Co. One of her brothers was a wounded civil war veteran. John H. Seymore is listed in 1860 and 1870 in the household of James and Eliza Seamore. In the name order I am guessing he may have been a grandchild. I would be interested in any information or pictures you may have. Does Elizabeth Seymore Roberts have children. What are their names. Did Elizabeth leave any records of her parents or grandparents. Thank you for any information you can supply. Clara
