ALTON,
This may be of no import, but I believe that my WEELDON ggrands were helped by Quakers in NC, as they were able to
purchase a house by 1880 in Wilmington, NC.
I believe my ggrands were slaves prior to 1870---WHERE ???
Also believe that there is a connection of my line to RI,
as some RI slavers removed to Charleston, SC to avoid paying heavy taxes for owning slaves and there are just TOO
many similar names to dismiss a connection.
THOUGHTS???
Sincerely,
carol wheeldin warren.
