Hi Janice,

It was at the Bays Mountain Park Museum where I found a notebook with some sheets on the Feagins. I knew my grgrgrandfather was John Feagins, and the sheets there gave his father as James and James' parents as William and Jane Feagins. I later found some information about them in a Hawkins County family histories book.

I have two Thomas Feagins in my database. Thomas H. b. 1865 died 1918, m. Ebbie Christian. Thomas Winston b. 1844 m. Matilda Skelton. Thomas H. is s/o John and Thomas Winston is s/o James. Is either one of these yours and do I have dates wrong? This is not my original research.
