We are looking for males with the last name Britton (or any of the variant forms including Brittain, Bretton, Britten, Breton, etc.) who would like to participate in the project. Since this is a Y-chromosome study, only males are eligible, but females may participate indirectly by finding a male relative to represent their line.

For more on DNA testing for genealogy and Y-chromosome tests in particular, please follow this link to an article at Wikipedia:

If you are interested in joining the study or have a relative who might be interested, please let me know.

Thank you.

Lindsey Britton

Results from the first participants are already in, and a second group is taking the test now.
