His parents were William RUSH II & Anne GRAY - Children of Wm. RUSH II & Ann GRAY were : (1) William RUSH IV, b. abt. 1683 in George Co. VA, m. abt. 1718 to Mary HUDSON in Westmoreland Co., VA & he died 17-July-1735 in Orange Co., VA. (2) Benjamin RUSH, Sr., b. abt. 1690 in Westmoreland Co., VA & d. abt. 1766 in Bute Co., NC Benjamin Sr. m. bet. 1714 & 1716 in Richmond Co., VA. Benjamin Sr.'s Wife was : Amy Harrison ELKINS. (3) Mary RUSH, b. bef 1707 & d. bef 1748. Her mom died 1748.

Elizabeth's M#2 - William DUFF, b. abt 1672 in Keithmore, Scotland, m. abt. 1710 in Westmoreland Co., VA His Wife, widow Elizabeth Perry RUSH b. abt. 1663 in Westmoreland Co., VA. He died bef. Aug-1745 in King George Co., VA. Elizabeth died 27-Oct-1748 in King George Co., VA. There were no known children of this marriage.
Will of William DUFF written in 1741 in King George Co., VA and proved 3-Aug-1745. Therefore He died prior to 3-Aug-1745. Also on 3-Aug-1745 his Nephew, Robert GREEN replaced the Widown Elizabeth DUFF as Executor of the William DUFF Will. In other court records the DUFF's were chariterized as "the Childless" widow DUFF. And at another record he was referred to as "the Rich Mr. William DUFF.
The will of Robert GREEN of Orange Co., VA can be found in the Orange Co., VA Will Book #2, pages 127 - 131 and states that William DUFF died without any Male Heirs. And also in the GREEN will it mentiones that William had a brother, John DUFF who was from Ireland and resided in Keithmore. Both brothers were probably Scot-Irish.
