Rosemary,
Thank you for replying to my message. I have U.S. mailed a request of information from the Yeocomico Episcopal church, but have not received a reply from them. It has been a few weeks ago. If you could look up James grave that would be wonderful. His wife was Elizabeth Barecroft but she is buried in Fairfax Co. When he died, the wife and unmarried daughter moved to Fairfax. I think this was around 1810, at least sometime before the war of 1812. He was about forty.
I do not think they would have taken his body all the way to Fairfax Co for burial since they lived in Westmoreland and may have had ties to Norhumberland Co as well.
