I have a James Butler b.abt 1776 in Westmoreland Co. d. 10/19/1857. If this is the same one,I have that he was buried in Greene Co Ky. This is where he last lived. Of course, there are several James Butlers. This one was married to Mary "Polly" Forbis on 3/27/1804 in Greene Co. Ky. He had the following children: 1. John D."Jack" Butler b.12/2/1818 d.6/6/1877, 2.William b.1805, 3.Phoebe b.1806, 4.Harman b.1821, 5.Preston Robert b. 3/4/1822, and 6.Alexander b.1824. Hope this helps. As far as the exact gravesite, I do not know.
