Interested in communicating with any Wild Geese Researchers. Trying to connect these Irish regiments from France to Virginia and in particular into Irish settlement in Kinsale, Va (Westmoreland).
My goal is to determine the locations in France of the Irish Regiments in the Service of France.
King James Army (Jacobite Army) sailed to France after the Battle of Boyne in 1691. I believe they were based in St Germain and many made their way to Virginia from 1691 through the 1700s.
My interest is tracking the momements of each regiment and the location of the battles. Also researching the parish, hospital,schools, and the Royal House support of these military units.
