Alexander Thom, Leedstown Westmoreland C
Posted by: Sally Date: March 15, 2001 at 18:50:20

The first Thom of my branch was Alexander Thom who emmigrated from Scotland about 1746 and lived in Leedstown, Westmoreland Co on the Rappahannock to about 1753. He then went up river to about Brandy Station, Culpeper Co. Married Elizabeth Tripplet. His permanent home became Berry Hill. His son John Thom was a Colonel of the VA militia in the Revolution. I would like to find was he in Leedstown and where he lived and what he did. Can anyone point me in the right direction or have info?
Thanks, Sally
