I am following the family of Robert Seay and Mary Frances Melton who were around Lynchburg, Va. in the 1850's and 1860's. One daughter, Martha W., married Antonio Deprato in 1856 and ended up in Bristol. I have the Deprato obits posted on the Seay GenForum.
I have recently found that Mary Frances died in Bristol, VA around Jan. 9, 1902 at age 98. This info comes from a newspaper obit in the Marshall Messenger(Marshall, TX.). She had been living in Marshall for many years along with the family of another daughter (Mary C. who married Lewellen Lloyd). Mary Frances remarried to a man by the name of Rogers at some point before 1880.
Can anyone provide additional info on her such as local obit, burial location, etc.
