Was there a connection between the Forsyth's of Indian Springs, Washington County, Maryland and the Forsyth's of Warren County, Virginia?
Finally discovered the name of my Forsyth and Thompson family in Warren County, Virginia.
Found an actual copy of their marrige anouncement in Hagerstown, Maryland.
17 Mar 1865 Hagerstown Mail
On the 7th instant, at the Rail Road House, by the Rev. George w. Heyde,
Mr . Joseph Thompson of Baltimore, Maryland and Sarah L. Forsyth of Warren County, Virginia.
I checked the 1850 Census of Warren County, Virginia all of the Forsyth's and discovered only one Sarah Forsyth.

William Forsyth, born 1794 Virginia
Wife: Mildred, born 1813 Virginia. Maiden name Jones?
Catherine, age 16 born 1834 VA.
Martha, age 11 born 1839 VA.
Elizabeth, age 8 born 1842 VA.
Sarah, age 18 born 1832 VA****
George, age 21 born 1829 VA.
Sarah Forsyth and Joseph Thompson had two children in the Forks area of Warren county:
Thomas J. Thompson born 1867
Minnie Lee Thompson born 1873
On the 1870 Census Buckton Station area
Josiah Thompson born Maryland. Father MD. Mother VA.
Sarah (Sallie) born VA. Parent's born VA.
Son: Thomas J. Thompson born 1867
In 1880 Census Bellefontaine, Logan County, Ohio
J.S. Thompson born MD
Sallie, born VA
Thomas J. born 1867 VA
Minnie L. born 1873 VA
After that they lived in Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio.
1895 Thomas J. Thompson marries Kate Engelhardt. They have two sons one was my Grandfather.
1899 Sallie Thompson born Virginia dies buried Wesleyan Cemetery Cincinnati, Ohio
1911 Josiah (Joseph) S. Thompson dies buried Wesleyan Cemetery, Cincinnati, Ohio. Thomas J. thompson askes the Front Royal papers to please copy his father's obituary.
1936 Thomas J. Thompson dies Cincinnati, Ohio buried Wesleyan Cemetery.
