Many thanks again for your response. Later,I did find Viola Lauretta Collins listed on the June 1900 Warren County Census, South River District. She was listed as 10 yrs old, daughter of James Wilson Collins and Mary Ellen Watkins.
(He is the brother of Charles W. Collins. Both men served in the same Civil War unit Company A of the 23rd Virginia Cavalry. And I did order from Hal Sharp the book by Kleese on that unit and it I was so delighted to find it...it listed both Collins men in the book index)
Viola was married to William a. High on 5/24/1906. Her second husband was Lovell Newton Jennings on 11/18/1908. Her only daughter was Marguerite Jennings, a single lady, who kept bible records of family. All are buried at Prospect Hill Cemetery.
Viola's older sister, Leona W. Collins married James T. Beatty on 4/9/1890 in Warren County... From your 1880 Census, I didn't know that James T. Beaty is listed as a step-son of Charles and Frances (Brown) Beaty.I do know that Frances Brown was widowed from a Mr. Beaty when she married Charles Collins on June 10, 1862 in Rappahannock County, VA.
I appreciate your help. Keep in touch.
