I have John Martin Stowers ancestors and decendants. He was born in Rocky Gap, Bland Co. VA. Clear Fork is really part of Rocky Gap. I'm sure they probably knew Mary Lee Davis Tickle. Her father was John Daniel Davis, mother Rose Eva Stinson.
The site I research on gives Jennie's birth as 8-27-1882,Tazewell Co. this is not always exact, but at least close, death Aug 1976 in Bristol, TN marriec 1911 Tazewell Co.
