Jennie Belle Townley was born in 1883 in Maxwell, Va, the daughter of William R Townley and Sarah Jane Asbury Townley.I have a picture of her tombstone, but it does not give the exact month and day. The 1880 Federal Census makes William Townley as being born in 1844.I found a William Townley born 1800, wife Sarenah Midkiff born 1815, they both died in Patrick Co, VA. I will check with my cousin Judy Stowers Farley about Mary Lee, the Davis sounds familar. Judy was raised on Clear Fork, she is the daughter of Daisy Mae Lawson and Charles Hubert Stowers. Daisy was the daughter of Jennie Belle. Please excuse if I repeat myself, I don't remembr what I wrote before.
