Hi Kay , thank you for your response. I have not been able to find any more info on Sarah or her parents. The 1880 census has Rinda at 35 yrs., and the 1900 census has Dorinda as her mother in the same household at 65 yrs., of age ( she gained 10 years ) with Sarah as the head of household. I have not been able to find any proof of death , divorce , or any other disposition of my great great grandfather William. John , Sarah's son is my grandfather , but , the state of Virginia informed me that they have no record of his birth in Tazewell County. His WW1 & WW2 military draft registrations both state that he was born in Tazewell County. They also have no records for William , Dorinda or Sarah. It just doesn't seem natural that there would be no records at all. Maybe some day I will get help from someone as nice as you and find the missing links that I am looking for. Once again , I would like to thank you for your time and attention.
