Littleton Plantation, Surry or Sussex Co., VA-Richard Williams b. ca 1680

Does anyone out there know anything about a Richard Williams family that were located in Littleton Plantation... probably in Sussex Co. but could also be Surry or Southampton Counties.

He was Capt. Richard Williams (ca 1680) and died about 1738 in possibly Chowan, NC. His wife may have been Sarah Daugherty (ca 1680-24 Mar 1749) who died in Isle of Wight, VA.

Children from this marriage are: Elizabeth, Daniel, Solomon, John, Mary, Elisha, George (Jorg) and Joshua. My husband's line descends from Joshua who purportedly married a Miss Thomas (poss. Sarah).

Surnames that seem to connect to this line are Lawrence, Henderson, Carr, Thomas.

If anyone has more detailed information on this line, I would love to chat with you.

THANKS.

Gerri Williams
Austin, TX
