In the following books: 17th Century Isle of Wight Co VA by John Bennett Boddie, Isle of Wight Co VA Deeds 1720 - 1736 and Deeds 1741 - 1749, and Isle of Wight County Virginia Deeds 1647 - 1719 Court Orders 1693 - 1695 and Guardian Accounts 1740 - 1767.
17th Century IOW book:
I found mention of Captain Edward Windom pg 63 & 163, this concerned Bacon's Rebellion, and mentioned as part of a commission in 1652.
I found mentioned in deeds from William Boddie to Edmund Windum pgs 201, 340, 347.
Ed. Windum is mentioned on page 633.
(William Boddie was a Quaker)
pg 347.....I shall give unto Edmund Windum, son of Edmund Windum, five head of female cattle.....dated April 4, 1680.
IOW Deeds 1647 etc.
Edmund Windom page 82 William Boddy gives hefer to son of Edmund Windom dec. and his wife. Dated 1695.
