Does anyone have information on Swan(n) Point Plantation, Surry County?,Colonial Virginia? Through various pieces of information, Swan's Point was across the James River from the settlement of Jamestown. My gggranfather, from the Family Bible, was born at Swan(n)'s Point. Thomas Buckingham Swan born December 25, 1801. Does anyone know his father and mother's name?
Mother Catherine? Father: John B?
Can anyone confim that Swan's Point is located in Surry County, Virginia? Family Bible has Maryland?
Thanks for any information.
