Thanks for the reply. What did you mena by you did not think Southwarke Parish was extant?
Also, I know Southwarke Parish was in the area of Surry co Va that became Sussex co Va in 1753 when Sussex co Va was fdormed or at least I think that is correct but I read that when Sussex co va was formed it was basically where Albemarle Parish was located in Surry co Va. In other words the area that had been Albemarle Parish in Surry co Va became Sussex co Va in 1753 so how could that be if Sussex co Va was the area that had been Albemarle Parish and Southwarke Parish which had been in Surry co Va and then was in Sussex co Va when it was formed?
