I am researching my Hollyman Holleman families. The information I have on Joseph Holleman married Elizabeth Wilson and they had a daughter, Lucy who was named in her father's will as Lucy Holleman. I have a copy of his will. George A. Holleman wrote a book on the Hollymans that was published in 1953. His note on Lucy states he married 1st. Phillip Thomas and married 2nd John Chapman. I am in the process of documentating the marriages. Joseph Holleman will was proved in Surry Co., VA Court 27 Jun 1786.
Elizabeth was the daughter of Thomas Wilson and Elizabeth-- Thomas Wilson's will was proved in Surry Co., VA Court 19 Apr 1768. Joseph Holleman was one of the Executors.

NOTE the change of spelling of Hollyman as the name was originally spelled.
Hope this helps. genieann@aol.com Ann Odom
