Wessons/Westons

Hi! I am looking for any information regarding Edward Wesson/Weston Sr. (Wife- Anne?) born circa 1650+ and died circa 1719. It is believed that both he, and his son, William Wiley Wesson (wife - Elizabeth Blanchard) born circa 1690 died and are buried in Surry Co. VA. Edward Sr. also once owned some shares of Moore's Swamp.

They later migrated to Brunswick Co. ANY INFO on this family is GREATLY appreciated!! Specifically, I would LOVE to know if there are any gravesites in VA that remain on this family.

I have been told that Edward was a corporal under Capt. Mosely during King Phillip's war (but have not affirmed this). This family was also very closely intertwined with the Phillips family of Surry and Brunswick also.
Thanks!! Wendy
