My John Jordan, along with brothers Nathan Jordan, Jr., Samuel Jordan and William Jordan were all living in Baker County, Ga by 1840. John was in or near Macon, Ga in 1816 upon the birth of his daughter, Jane. He preceded the other brothers into Baker County, Ga on or before 1822, which was created from Early County, Ga.

I have forwarded your info to Debra Pate, a descendent of Nathan Jordan, Jr., a brother or cousin to my John. Debra Pate has Knight relatives. Her Nathan Jordan, Jr. first married a Mary Mote, 2nd to a Richardson and 3rd to a Richardson, cousin to the 2nd wife. She would know the location of her Knight family in Georgia.
