hello Sandra:
I don't know if this will help but i ran accross a John Proctor and his wife Allis. John arrived in 1609 on the seaventure and it appears that his wife diden't get here till 1621. i also have a note from a book " early Va. immigrants" by Greer which stated that George Proctor's wife first was married to one of my ancesters Maj. william Marriott and also a John Bishop.
I have not sorted this out it is only hand written notes to myself but i saw your e-mail and the name proctor hit me .I hope this is helpful
