Hi Ms. Daye
Nicholas Spencer seems to have been the nephew of William Spencer who came to Va 1607/09.
Nicholas seems to have come a little later .
Hogg Island is off Surry land either connected now or washed away but the old road to Hogg Island was College land
No College was ever planned to be there so it must have been an area in England that someone named after it
